Sorry Matt!

Sorry Matt! I forgot to add in the first post that Addy is also very excited to see Matt when we visit. She hopes that he'll hold her. We doubt that will happen, but maybe he'll prove us wrong!

Pool Fun

Today we took Addy for a little "swim" in her blow up pool. She didn't really know what to think about it at first, but she soon got used to it and had a blast. We can't wait to take her to the lake later on this summer when it gets a little warmer. Jamey didn't think she needed a diaper under her swimming suit. She proved him wrong by peeing on the bed before she even got to the pool. He decided that I was right and that he should listen to me.

Our Baby Blue

Addy has bright blue eyes. We just hope that she keeps them!

Bath Time

Addy is a happy little girl and loves bath time. We can't wait to take her swimming this summer!

We finally have a blog!

Hi everyone! We've finally joined the 21st century and decided to start a blog. A lot has happening to our little family lately. Addy is two months old and is very alert and interested in her surroundings. She has recently discovered her hands, feet and tongue. She loves to try to fit her entire fist into her mouth and sometimes when she's up for the challenge she tries to get both of them in there. She also loves to lick everything she can get near. Her favorite thing to try to lick is CC, the dog. CC is still a little apprehensive of her and won't get too close to her. Addy also loves to watch her feet.
We recently moved in with Jamey's parents in Washington. The move has been a big challenge. Washington is a lot different from Colorado. The mountains seem like hills to us. It was rainy for the entire first week that we were here and we were pretty worried, but summer has finally arrived.
Jamey is working for the National Park Service up her at Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area as a Park Ranger. He is having a blast. In the next week or so he will begin boat patrols and he's looking forward to spending everyday on the lake. He is also participating in a historic weapons demonstration at Fort Spokane over 4th of July weekend. He's pretty excited to shoot a Howitzer cannon.
Addy and I are planning a trip back to Colorado sometime in August to visit her Grandma and Grandpa and most of all Aunt Nicole. For all of our friends in Colorado, I will let you know when we plan to be there so we can get together.
We miss everyone and will keep you posted on our adventures this summer!
