Job Change

On the 8th of July, I will be changing jobs. I will still be working with the park service still and in the same building, but I will be moving upstairs. I will be working in the superintedent's office. I have no idea what I will be doing, but I am grateful that I will be able to remain employed once my emergency hire in dispatch is over.

Father's Day

I am so grateful that my daughter has a wonderful dad who works so hard and sacrifices so much to provide for our needs.

Addy made Jamey a shirt this year (like the past two years) with her handprints on it. We were sad that he had to work and we were unable spend the day with him, but he got an arrest at work, so he was pretty excited.

Beach Bums

Addy and I try to go to the beach at least once a week. It's really close to our house, and she loves playing in the sand. She likes to walk out into the water, but won't float yet. Hopefully, as the water temperature rises, she will be more enthusiastic about playing in it.

Dangling Rope/Hole In the Rock

Jamey and I were supposed to finally have a day off together, then he got called in to work, so Addy and I decided to head up lake with him. Addy decided that daddy needed a little help with him dishes. Addy loved riding on the boat. She thought it was so fun.

She enjoyed it so much that she fell asleep. It was the best naptime ever. She slept for two hours on the trip up and two hours on the trip down.

I just finished reading "the Undaunted", so Jamey took me to see Hole-In-the-Rock. I know it has changed a lot since the pioneers came through, but it baffles me that they brought wagons down this!

On June 15th, Jamey and I ccelebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. It's crazy to think that it's already been 5 years.

Mother's Day

I am so grateful for this little lady. She makes my life more complete!

Our Little Potty Trainer

We've decided that we're not going to push Addy into it and that she'll just do it when she's ready. In the past few weeks, she's been telling me that she needs to go potty, but it's usually right after she pees. Yesterday, first thing in the morning, she told jamey so they rushed into the bathroom (she insists on using the big girl potty) and she DID IT! I was so excited when I heard that little tinkling sound. I figured it was all a fluke, but jamey texted me at work and said she did it again... let's hope she keeps it up!
