Makeovers and Bubbles

I am the 1st Counselor in the YW Presidency in my ward. I absolutely love the girls and all the fun we have together. Last Wednesday, we decided to do crazy makeovers to emphasize the importance of inner beauty. The girls had a blast and even a few of us leaders let them make us over.

Addy had the most fun giving herself a makeover.

She put on a couple of different shades of lipstick.

I was amazed at the fact that she didn't poke herself in the eye. She has pretty good dexterity.

Earlier that day, the temperature was in the 70's so we decided to head outside and blow bubbles. Addy had a blast and toward the end she was running all over trying to pop them.

Addy is such a big girl now, and insists on walking up or down the stairs when we are coming or going.

Addy all ready for our walk along Fountain Creek on Tuesday. We can't wait for spring to be in full swing!

New Photos

I took Addy to get her birthday pictures recently. I can't believe that she will be TWO next month! Time has flown by. She absolutely loved the attention and did amazing. I wish she would cooperate like this when I try to take pictures of her. Here are a few of the pictures she took.

Our first taste of spring

I got this idea from a friend's blog. Addy has so many bows and barrettes that I decided to make a holder for it. She still have tons more little barrettes, but we ran out of room.

Addy and I are dog sitting this week at my parent's house, and the weather was gorgeous, so we took a little time to play outside and soak up a little Vitamin D.

Addy loves "pomo" (pongo). She calls both puppies "pomo". She was wiping him off because he he was "dirty".

We love the fact that it's beginning to warm up. we take every opportunity to head outside. We're looking forward to this summer!
