Addy is such a funny little girl (of course I'm biased) and makes me laugh all the time. Some times she reminds me so much of a little adult. She has a great imagination and loves to play pretend and tell me stories.
One of her new favorite words is "quite".
Today at the park, she ran up to me and said, "Mama, that slide is quite fun!" It made me laugh. She sounded so proper.
She loves her daddy so much and thinks that he is superman. If anything is broken, missing, or she needs something done, she says, "it's okay Mama daddy will fix/find/do it when he comes home.
She has an amazing memory. When we visited Jamey in Tucson, we stayed at Super 8. That was 2 months ago and we only stayed there 2 nights. Now, everytime we pass by the Super 8 in Page, Addy tells me all about "daddy's house" and all the fun stuff they have there.
She also tells me stories about the things that Duke, my parent's dog, does. She hasn't seen him since last Thanksgiving.
It seems that the things she remembers the most are going to the zoo with Ammon and going to Chuck E. Cheese with "my matt". The last time we did either of those things was last April.
She asks me everyday for a puppy and a baby sister. We're working on finding a new place to live, so we can get a puppy. When she asks for a baby sister, I just laugh and tell her that she needs to talk to her daddy about that!
She is so resourceful, and it drives me crazy. If she wants something, she will do anything to get it. There have been so many times when I've put stuff on top of the refrigerator, so she won't have access to it, and come back in to the kitchen to find that she has moved a chair over so she can climb on the counter to get whatever is one the fridge. I am so grateful for this little lady that I've been blessed with. I can not believe that she's three already, and I don't know what I'd do without her! She is my little buddy, and we have so much fun together.
